No Regrets
Have you ever paused to ask yourself: If you could turn back time, would you do anything differently?
We often assume there will be another conversation. Another chance to better understand what a child is going through.
But what if that was the last chance?
Emotional distress seldom announces itself. A quiet reply. A closed door. A glance that doesn’t linger. Moments that pass in seconds—easy to overlook, easy to miss. But behind that silence, a child may already be struggling—carrying thoughts they cannot yet put into words, or don’t know how to share.
No Regrets is a story about missed chances and the weight of regret. It is also a reminder that life offers no rewind button. Once those moments are gone, there may never be another chance to respond.
Every Moment Matters
At the same time, parents and adults care deeply. But in everyday life, the moment to connect is often missed. And once missed, those moments cannot always be revisited in the same way.
At Save the Children Hong Kong, we believe every moment matters. Through this campaign, we aim to help adults better recognise children’s emotional needs, spot the signs that may otherwise go unnoticed, and seize everyday opportunities to build trust, show care and start meaningful conversations.
Every child deserves to be heard. Every adult has a role to play. And every moment carries the opportunity to make a difference.
It begins with something small, but meaningful: A knock – an act of respect, care and a moment to truly listen.
