5.17 HONG KONG ISLAND FLAG DAY - FLAGS FOR CHILDREN’S TOMORROWS
Save the Children Hong Kong Flag Day will be held in the Hong Kong Island area on 17 May, 2025 (Saturday). Themed with “Flags for Children’s Tomorrows”, the flag day aims to encourage everyone to join hands in supporting the well-being, education, and safety of the most vulnerable children, empowering them to achieve their full potential.

BECOME VOLUNTEER
We are currently recruiting 1,500 volunteers (Individual/Family/School/Group/Corporate) to assist in the flag day. Your participation can change the future of children! Individuals, families, schools, groups, and businesses are all welcome to join.
– Each volunteer will receive an “e-certificate of appreciation”.
– Parent-child volunteers: Both adults and children will receive an “e-certificate of appreciation” (participants aged below 14 must be accompanied by an adult).
– This event counts as 4 hours of volunteer service.
CORPORATE SUPPORT
Companies can donate and support by filling in the following form to donate and/or purchase gold flags, contributing to efforts for children.

The Director of Social Welfare has given approval to three organisations to sell flags in Hong Kong Island region, Kowloon region and New Territories region respectively on 17 May 2025. Save the Children Hong Kong is authorised to conduct flag sale in Hong Kong Island region on that day. (SWD Public Subscription Permit No.: FD/R007/2025).
