BE A CHILD GUARDIAN

Monthly giving is critical to providing a predictable income stream that allows Save the Children to plan and implement Hong Kong and global projects more efficiently. When disaster strikes or a crisis breaks out, our dedicated emergency responders are among the first to arrive – and the last to leave. With your continuous support, we can be ready to send life-saving food, shelter and medicines straight to where they are most urgently needed.

Since 2023, Sudan’s humanitarian crisis has worsened — children face hunger, violence, and displacement. We’ve been on the ground since 1983, delivering life‑saving support in Sudan and worldwide.

  • Health and Nutrition: Emergency care, vaccinations and Ready‑to‑Use Therapeutic Food (RUTF) to combat malnutrition.
  • WASH (Water, Sanitation & Hygiene): Clean water, hygiene kits, and sanitation to prevent disease.
  • Education: Ensure children continue learning, providing hope for a brighter future.

In 2025, we supported over1.3 million people in Sudan, includingmore than 715,000 children.

The severe fire at Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po destroyed hundreds of homes, leaving children without essentials for daily life and learning. We provided urgent relief and are also planning mid‑ to long‑term support for children affected and across Hong Kong.

  • Immediate Support: Cash assistance for education essentials and uniforms; Deliver stationery, children’s tableware, thermal wear and storybooks to help them restore stability in life.
  • Long‑term Emotional Support: Launch a Children’s psychological support hotline, counselling service, and a post‑disaster parenting webinar in partnership with Hong Kong Shue Yan University; will provide therapy and programmes to help affected children heal and build resilience, supporting children in need across Hong Kong.
