The Save the Children Child Safeguarding training that Namrata provided for our very new organisation was perfect for our needs and really focused on the unique issues that our teacher-volunteers might face. It was particularly effective for our group because of the interactive format and the very Hong Kong-specific examples that were used to illustrate points. As all of our volunteers are teachers from Hong Kong’s international schools and have already attended their own school’s safeguarding training, it is a real testament to Save the Children that all the teachers reported that they had learned something new in Namrata’s session and that they felt much more comfortable in their role as a volunteer-teacher with our vulnerable population of students.
