CHILDREN FROM GRASSROOT FAMILIES NEED YOUR SUPPORT

Children from grassroot families in Hong Kong often have relatively fewer opportunities to access quality education and lack safe places to play. In addition, financial hardship, poor living conditions and lack of personal time with childcare demands contribute to estranged family relationships, increasing stress on caregivers and risk of violence and/or abuse on children.

According to Social Welfare Department, the physical and psychological child abuse cases rise sharply from 265 cases in 2020 (Q1-3) to 454 cases in 2021 (Q1-3).

Your donations will be channelled to our Domestic Save the Children Programme and used to support our work in Hong Kong, such as Heart to Heart Programme, Mental Health Programme and Spark of Life Programme. Your donations will support children in Hong Kong wherever the need is greatest.
