
1 April, 2025—Save the Children Hong Kong announced the appointment of Ms. Kalina Tsang as the new CEO, effective from 1 April, 2025.
Ms. Kalina Tsang has over 30 years of experience working in non-profit organisations and is a seasoned social worker. Prior to her new role, she served as the Director General of an international charity organisation, leading numerous poverty alleviation and development projects, policy research and advocacy campaigns, global citizenship education, and humanitarian relief initiatives in Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, and Mainland China. Additionally, Ms. Tsang pioneered research and advocacy work on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), dedicated to serving disadvantaged communities.
Ms. Tsang noted her deep honor at being appointed CEO of Save the Children Hong Kong and said, “so many children in Hong Kong and around the world, face enormous challenges, and Save the Children Hong Kong has always been at the forefront of helping those in need. I look forward to leading the team to strive for excellence, bringing positive changes in humanitarian aid, child protection, health, and education. Save the Children Hong Kong will continue to uphold its vision, connecting different stakeholders to create a brighter future for children in need.”

Ms. Tsang holds a Master of Public Administration degree from Harvard University in the US, and a Bachelor of Social Sciences degree in Social Work from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
