At Save the Children Hong Kong, we take a zero-tolerance stance towards child abuse. Our Child Safeguarding Service helps child-facing organisations improve their knowledge, skills, and internal systems, to actively protect the children they engage with.

Workshops, Community Forums & Guest Lectures

Helping you develop child-safety standards and protocols aligned with your specific operations. We start with an Assessment to understand your unique needs, and use this information to tailor how we frame and develop your Policy. We meet regularly with two of your staff members, helping them to write your Policy. After the Policy is written, we provide ongoing guidance and a 6-month Review to check-in and offer follow-up on any challenges you may be facing.
Boosting your staff’s awareness and ability to actively prevent and respond to child-safety risks. We start with an Assessment to understand your unique needs, and use this information to tailor the training content. We offer a range of trainings from safeguarding basics for all team members, to safeguarding culture strengthening for senior leadership. After the Training is delivered, we provide ongoing guidance and a 6-month Review to check-in and offer follow-up on any challenges you may be facing.
Keeping you up-to-date on local regulations and global best practice. We offer a range of learning and engagement opportunities aimed at social workers, front-line staff, project managers, child-safety leads, Masters’ students, and more.
