As child abuse cases in Hong Kong continue to rise, ensuring children’s safety within organisational settings is a growing concern. At Save the Children Hong Kong, we take a zero-tolerance stance towards child abuse. Our Child Safeguarding Service is helping child-facing organisations improve their knowledge, skills, and internal systems to keep children safe.

John
Project Spark Founder
Their seminar was specifically tailored to meet our organisational needs and she thoughtfully answered specific questions we had. In the future I hope to attend more sessions.
Kathie
Project Spark Leadership Team
As all of our volunteers are teachers from Hong Kong’s international schools and have already attended their own school’s safeguarding training, it is a real testament that all the teachers reported that they had learned something new and felt much more comfortable as a volunteer-teacher.

Our organisation made our action plan for child safeguarding during the workshop and we are working on it. Again, thank you for organising an insightful workshop for us.

Our whole team gained so much insight into how to ensure the correct safety procedures and wellbeing of children under our care should be conducted as well as awareness of protecting our staff and organisation as well.

We left the session empowered with knowledge, practical tools and systems that will help us ensure we’re a child-safe organisation across all of our programming.
