Volunteers Registrations (Individuals/ Family/ School/ Corporate)

We are currently recruiting over 1,500 volunteers aged 14 or above (participants aged below 14 must be accompanied by an adult) to support our Flag Day. To encourage active participation, each volunteer who attends and takes part in the flag selling activity will receive a certificate of appreciation and have four volunteer hours recorded. For family volunteers, both the adult and the child will receive an e-certificate of appreciation.

Interested individuals are invited to complete the following form and await formal confirmation of their volunteer status.

How do I know if my registration is successful?
You will receive an email immediately after completing your online registration. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please check your spam folder or re-register after 15 minutes or contact +852 3160 8686 for confirmation.
Can a parent participate in flag-selling with two children?
No. Each volunteer under 14 years old must be accompanied by a parent or a guardian.
What if I want to change my flag bag collection point?
Please inform us by email ([email protected]) on or before 25 April 2025.
Will we gather together on the morning of Flag-Selling Day (17 May 2025)?
No. Volunteers should bring all flag-selling materials and go to nearby locations of the selected Flag Bag station independently between 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM on 17 May 2025.
If you haven’t collected your flag bag in advance, please visit your selected Flag Bag Station. Staff will be available from 8:30 AM – 12:00 noon on the event day.
Where should I return the flag bags after the activity?
Flag bags must be returned to the designated station by 12:00 noon on the same day (17 May 2025). If you fail to return the flag bag to the designated flag station by 12:00 noon, we are required to report the case as loss of flag bag to the police (according to relevant government regulations). Volunteers will receive details via email before 6 May 2025

The Director of Social Welfare has given approval to three organisations to sell flags in Hong Kong Island region, Kowloon region and New Territories region respectively on 17 May 2025. Save the Children Hong Kong is authorised to conduct flag sale in Hong Kong Island region on that day. (SWD Public Subscription Permit No.: FD/R007/2025).
