As an organisation dedicated to empowering children, we are committed to responding swiftly to support affected children and nearby schools. Working closely with our school partners in Tai Po, we are identifying the immediate needs of children and families—and doing everything we can to assist, including:

  • Instant Financial Support:
    • Providing HK$10,000 per child affected by the Tai Po Blaze, lives in Wang Fuk Court, and is currently studying at 1 of the 11 specified schools in Tai Po. We aim to meet children’s urgent learning needs—such as school uniforms, books, backpacks, and other essential supplies.
  • Learning Assistance:
    • Distributing stationery supplies donated by students from Kellett School to affected schools.
  • Immediate Emotional Comfort:
    • Distributing plush toys to students in Tai Po kindergartens to bring instant comfort.
  • Professional Psychological Counseling
    • Working with Hong Kong Shue Yan University, the Department of Counselling and Psychology to provide counselling to affected children, helping them recover from trauma and rekindle hope.
  • Long-term Emotional Support
    • Through the Healing Heart and Mind programme designed for primary school students, we aim to help children in Tai Po strengthen resilience, heal from psychological distress.

Support now to enable us to reach more children in need. We are already implementing the Programme in a primary school next to the blaze zone and distributing resources to children in need. With your help, we aim to extend the supports to more children and families.

Your donations will be channelled to our Hong Kong Programme Fund and used to empower children and their families in need, enhancing their mental health.
