Our Diverse Local Efforts in Child Protection
Programmes
We design local programmes to meet the diverse needs of children, focusing on child protection, mental well-being, and poverty. For child protection, our “Heart to Heart” programme empowers parents with positive parenting skills to prevent violence against children.
Child Safeguarding Service
Our Child Safeguarding Service helps child-facing organisations improve their knowledge, skills, and internal systems, to actively protect the children they engage with. To date, we have trained over 200 organisations and directly reached more than 100,000 children.
Advocacy
We relentlessly advocate for the implementation of better practices and policies of child protection. After the passage of Mandatory Reporting of Child Abuse, we will keep advocating for child-centered policies, including new legislation on failure to protect children to extend responsibility to more people and a total ban on corporal punishment in all settings, to build a culture with zero tolerance for violence against children.
Child Participation
We empower children and youth to speak up for their rights and become agents of change, working toward a better future for all children. For instance, our Youth Ambassadors represented us at the international SEA of Solutions 2024 conference. Student representatives of 2025 will be participating at the Bangkok Climate Action Week.
